Pella Regional Health Center was recently named one of the top 20 critical access hospitals in the country for overall quality. The top 20, including Pella Regional Health Center, scored as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. The rankings were recently announced by the National Rural Health Association. The top 20 achieved success in overall performance based on a composite rating from eight indices of strength: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge, and financial efficiency. This prestigious group was selected from the Chartis Center for Rural Health’s 2021 top 100 list, which was released earlier this year.
“Achieving this outstanding award from the NRHA demonstrates that our staff is focused on delivering safe, quality care for every patient,” says Bob Kroese, CEO at Pella Regional. “Everyone working as a team contributes to the quality care we provide.”
