Melcher-Dallas’ J’Lyn Knutson and Grace Overgaard will compete at the state tournament at Drake Stadium today.

Knutson will run in the 3000 meter run once again. Battling through a hip injury, Knutson will run in the state tournament for the third time in her four years with the Saints. Overgaard will compete in the shot put and discus this year. This will be Overgaard’s second appearance in the state tournament and her first time competing in the discus event.

Overgaard and Knutson will begin competing in events today at 2 p.m.
