The Indianola City Council approved engineering agreements for upcoming projects at their most recent meeting, the paving of South K Street and the reconstruction of Hillcrest Ave. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the two projects have been planned for and budgeted well in advance as part of the comprehensive plan.
“Both roads have been studied and evaluated and been a topic of discussion at city council meetings for the last several years. It was built into the CIP (Capital Improvements Plan) and so now we are just getting to the point of preparing the plans so we can go out to bid and break ground next fiscal year.”
