The Pella Police Department is organizing a basketball fundraiser on June 12th with first responders competing on the court to raise money for the Iowa Concerns for Police Survivors organization.

Chief Shane McSheehy and Captain Paul Haase says the public is invited to watch the charity tournament to raise funds for the group supporting the families of fallen officers.

The event is Saturday, June 12th at the Pella High School at 9am. Participants must have a public safety ID to participate in the 3 on 3, either LEO, Fire or EMS. $5 admission at the door, $45 team entry fee for the double elimination tournament.
