Thunderstorms move quickly into Iowa from Nebraska on early Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service. These storms will bring frequent lightning, locally heavy rainfall, and potentially damaging wind gusts. Additional thunderstorms may form across southern Iowa again on Thursday afternoon and evening, when severe weather would again be possible, including a few tornadoes. The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
