Today is the last day of school at Knoxville. The district has gone since February without a case of COVID-19, and Superintendent Cassi Pearson thanks the community and everyone involved for their support over the past year.

“I would just like to thank our community, families, students, and especially the staff. It has been quite a year. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped celebrate graduation last weekend, and those who have supported our activities, our students, and our district as a whole. We have great support for our educational system, we appreciate that. We love that we have so many partners to help raise our children.”

The district also dropped its mask mandate shortly before it was required by the Iowa Legislature. The 2021-2022 school year will begin Tuesday, August 24th.
