The Knoxville Community School District finished the school year with no COVID-19 cases since February among both students and staff. The Knoxville School Board voted to discontinue the mask requirement at its May 18th meeting due to guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Marion County has a four percent positivity rate, with eight new cases in the past week.
