The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad went 2-1 at the Southeast Warren Invitational on Saturday. After starting off on the wrong side of a 15-3 score against the hosts, the Saints were able to have better luck with Madrid in game two as Melcher-Dallas won 3-1. The Saints scored all three runs in the 4th inning and pitcher BrieAnna Remster allowed just four Tiger hits. In game three Melcher-Dallas jumped on top of Montezuma early after two innings and slammed the door shut in the third exploding for four runs. The Saints would take down the Braves 9-0 as Remster once again baffled Montezuma allowing only four hits and fanning ten. Melcher-Dallas is now 6-2 on the season and will travel to Mormon Trail on Tuesday.
