knoxville-high-school-9

When school begins this fall at Knoxville, visitors to the high school will enter through a remodeled entrance. Once the school day begins, the second set of doors will remain locked, and visitors will enter the office through a new hallway to check in. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says this was the right time for this project, and says it will be beneficial to all.

“Knowing that we were already going to be doing some remodeling in that area, we decided it was a great time to do a facelift of the office itself. We’ll be taking out a small wall and some countertops and furniture, putting in new carpet, new lighting and new ceilings. By the beginning of August, it’ll look like a whole new place. It will add value to traffic flow and productivity, we’ll add another conference room, and we think our staff, families, and kids will benefit from that.”

The project was approved at a cost of $75,000. Learn more about the project here.
