A Pella woman was injured in a head-on collision with a motorcycle this afternoon in Lynnville. According to the Iowa State Patrol, 39-year-old Jennifer Marie Lunkley was traveling southbound on Highway T38 near the 300 Block of East Street, and crossed the centerline in her Chevy Equinox for an unknown reason and hit a motorcycle operated by Alan Wilson Muntz of Grinnell, who was heading northbound at approximately 4:30 p.m.. Lunkley’s injuries were considered minor, while Muntz was flown by Mercy One Helicopter to Des Moines with serious injuries. The Iowa State Patrol is handling the investigation.
