Simpson College baseball player and Indianola High School alum Brady Held has been awarded with D3baseball.com All-Central Region Honors for his performance in the 2021 season for the Storm. Held was stellar on both the mound and at the plate, leading the American Rivers Conference with a 1.53 ERA, a .171 batting average against, and only 36 hits allowed all season long, and leading the Storm offense with a .333 batting average to go along with three home runs and 24 RBI. The Storm ended the season with an 18-23 overall record and a 14-18 conference record to finish 6th, their best finish under head coach Nathan Roling.
