PCM Softball hit the road Friday night to take on South Tama and won big with a final score of 11-0. The baseball team played host to South Tama and fell 9-5

Paige Steenhoek only allowed three hits in the circle for the Mustangs, which all came in the first inning. Joslin Briles had a three-run homer and All-State catcher from last season and now 3rd Baseman Riley Johannes added three RBIs to give the Mustangs the advantage as PCM cruised to the blowout win.

Caleb Duinink led the offense on the baseball diamond in the loss as he collected three base knocks, including a triple and a run batted in. Easton Webb got the start and took the loss.

PCM Softball will be at the Bondurant-Farrar tournament today. The first game for the Mustangs is against Newman Catholic at 10:45 a.m. followed by a matchup with Bondurant-Farrar at 12:30 p.m.
