Construction begins on Phase 1 of the Indianola Square Reconstruction on Monday, June 14th. The beginning stages of the construction will extend along Salem Avenue from B Street to Howard Street and along Buxton Street from Salem Avenue to Ashland Avenue, and will keep sidewalks open for business access throughout the street construction portion of the project. Business and property owners with basements will be able to work with the contractors to document existing conditions of basement walls, with the focus beginning on those properties lining the Phase 1 portion of the project. Phase 1 is expected to be complete by mid-November.
