
A warrant has been served for a Knoxville man who faces felony drug charges. On April 30th, Knoxville officers were advised that 51-year-old Gary Lee Galvin, was wanted and located in the 600 block of Highway 14 south.
Officers made contact with Galvin, and upon a search, located a glass jar with a crystalline substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine. They also located a small amount of marijuana. The total weight of the substances was 12.4 grams.
Galvin was placed in the Marion County Jail, and faces charges of possession of controlled substance third or subsequent offense. Bond is set at $5,000, and a preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
