The Indianola City Council approved a grant application from the Iowa Great Places program at their meeting Monday, taking advantage of opportunities after Indianola was named an Iowa Great Place in 2020. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News

“What the Hometown Pride Committee focused in on was pursuing a grant for more of a connection between the square and Simpson College on Buxton. Various artworks and different things to tie those two gems of our community together.”
