At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Marion County Public Health helped guide local businesses, schools, and organizations to phased reopening. This guidance included creating protocols on capacity restrictions, social distancing, general operations, and other considerations. Director Kim Dorn says a lot of behind the scenes work took place, and thanks her staff for their work.
“It was a lot of different perspectives. I’m not sure that people really understood how many things were going on at once. That’s okay, that was our job to keep track of all those things that were going on. I just have to say that my staff did a phenomenal job.”
