Details have been released in Sunday’s stabbing incident in Knoxville. 21-year-old Levi Null of Knoxville was arrested Monday morning in connection to the incident. Null allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife six times, causing serious injury. The victim, 24-year-old Christian Blaine Durham was transported to Knoxville Hospital & Clinics and later to a Des Moines hospital for treatment. Durham is in critical condition.
During the investigation, Null allegedly deleted information from his phone as officers were attempting to seize it to aid in the investigation.
Null was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail. He is charged with willful injury, causing serious injury, which is a Class C felony, and obstruction of prosecution, which is an aggravated misdemeanor. Bond is set at $150,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 24th.
