Several area boys and girls soccer players earned the highest possible recognition, as voted on by coaches across the state of Iowa.
From Pella High School, Abby Warner of the Lady Dutch was a 1st team Class 2A All-State honoree from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association, and a 2nd team selection in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association. Warner tallied 26 goals in her freshman campaign, good for 14th in Class 2A.
Pella Christian Sophomore Joslyn Terpstra was a 1st team Class 1A All-State choice from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association and a 2nd team honoree from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.
Norwalk was well represented following their trip to the state semifinals. Jocelyn Bice, Hannah Kehoe, and Reagan Teut were chosen in Class 2A yc the ICGA 1st team. Bice was also a 1st team honoree from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association and Kehoe and Teut were honorable mentions.

Hailey Van Houweling, Pella – IAHSSCA Class 2A Honorable Mention
The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association selects two teams per class among boys soccer athletes.
Isaac Semini of Pella was a 1st team selection in Class 2A. The junior scored 20 goals – 16th in 2A, and led the Dutch offense that qualified for the state tournament for the 6th time in school history. Teammates Josh Warner on defense and Goalkeeper Mason Holland were 2nd team selections.
Joe Brown of Norwalk was a 1st team honoree in Class 3A as a defender. Warrior Spencer Tayler was a 2nd team honoree.
