Through a variety of beautification projects and enhancement of events, the Spirit of Pella non-profit organization is seeking community support to move forward with a vision of development.

Mary Mansfield and Dick Redman with the Spirit of Pella Steering Committee say this group, in part organized and supported by the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance, aims to bring Murals and Public Art to the downtown area, including the Klokkenspel and Molengracht, and add to events such as Christmas in Pella, including the creation of the Kerstmarkt. The group is seeking community buy-in through donations and participation in supporting those initiatives.
