PCM softball traveled to Colfax-Mingo Tuesday night and lost a close game 2-1.

The Tigerhawks struck first with two runs in the third inning. PCM battled back in the fourth to add their only run. The Mustangs had a chance late to tie the game but a double play on a squeeze bunt ended the game. Riley DeVore took the tough loss on the mound despite helping herself with a double and a triple. The Mustangs fell to 9-9 on the season with the loss.

PCM softball has a big game at home tonight with Saydel to break the tie atop the Heart of Iowa conference standings, and the Mustangs baseball team also hosts Saydel. Both games start at 7:30 p.m.
