The lines were long as if it were Tulip Time in Pella, as two churches came together to benefit a 13 year-old student fighting a battle against a rare form of Neuroblastoma cancer.

Trinity Reformed Church and United Methodist Church partnered to serve the Double Dutch and Triple Threat burgers typically sold at the annual Tulip Time festival to raise funds to support Nate Van Engen and his family Tuesday evening.

Van Engen was unable to attend, but the community aimed to make their presence felt, with hundreds of residents getting a meal and making a donation to the family.
