It is another rivalry game for the Knoxville Softball Squad tonight as the Panthers host Pella Christian. Knoxville is coming off a dominant 13-0 win over Pella High on Tuesday and looks to sweep the Tulip City tonight. Coach Carla Smith tells KNIA/KRLS Sports her girl’s defense has vastly improved from the first couple weeks of the season.

Smith:
“We’ve done a great job defensively of just knocking things down. Emma has done a great job of keeping things in front of her and making great plays, plus Hannah has done a great job of keeping the middle of infield secure.”

Pella Christian is coming in after getting swept in the double header to Norwalk last night. You can hear the action on 95.3 KNIA starting with the pregame at 7:00.
