The Knoxville School Board approved construction updates at its meeting Monday. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the Randy Wilson Track project has been delayed due to the field project, and that an office carpet project was approved.
“We originally were going to have Randy Wilson Track resurfaced this month. Because of our turf project, that’s going to be pushed back to October. The other one was high school office carpet. The low bid on that was from Bruxvoort’s in Pella. They will be supplying carpet, and hopefully all of that will be in place before school starts in August.”
The carpet project is part of a larger facelift to the high school office and entrance, which was approved at a previous meeting. Read more about these projects here and here.
