Twin Cedars baseball hit the road Thursday where they took down a talented Collins-Maxwell 17-5 in five innings.
Jace Nichols picked up his first career varsity win on the mound while also going 2-4 at the dish with a single and triple. Kade Dunkin walked three times and stole three bases. Head Coach Mark Schroeder said the overall team energy and motivation to win this game was “fantastic.” The Sabers are now 7-6 overall on the year.
Twin Cedars summer sports host the season’s second Marion County Showdown tonight against Melcher-Dallas. Both games start at 5:30 p.m.
