
The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. They will hold a public hearing on a proposed 28E agreement with Marion County on annual appropriation tax increment payments. They’ll consider a resolution on setting wages and salaries for city employees beginning next fiscal year.
They will consider a bid from Midwest Sanitation on a city-wide cleanup and the disposal of property at 705 S 7th Street. They will also consider the approval of a resolution calling for a public referendum to authorize the imposition of a local sales and service tax at one percent.
The Knoxville City Council meeting begins at 6:15 p.m. in the city council chambers. The meeting will air live on 95.3 KNIA.
