It was all Grinnell on Eagle Lane Monday night, as the Pella Christian softball team fell 11-4 and 10-5, while the Eagles baseball team dropped a 15-7 and 4-0 pair of games to No. 5 in 3A Grinnell in a conference doubleheader.

Bailey Roose hit a two-run home run for the softball team and Kyle Branderhorst was 3-for-4 in game one of the baseball twin bill. The Eagles baseball team is 7-15 overall and 4-10 in the Little Hawkeye Conference; the P.C. softball girls are 10-13 and 3-11 against league foes. Both are off until a single varsity game Wednesday at home vs. DCG; hear that softball game with the No. 5 Mustangs and the Eagles on 92.1 KRLS at 7 p.m., following the Radio Sports Page Wednesday.
