The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for La Casa Mexican Restaurant Tuesday, celebrating new ownership and the restaurant joining the chamber. Owner Jose Ortega tells KNIA News the support La Casa has received from the community during the pandemic was overwhelmingly positive, and it does not go unappreciated.

Ortega also said after the success of the restaurant’s Cinco de Mayo celebration last month, La Casa will try to take advantage of their large outdoor patio seating and host another celebration in late July.
