Indianola Mayor Pam Pepper recognized the work of Indianola Police Chief Dave Button at the Indianola City Council meeting Monday, honoring Chief Button who announced his retirement earlier this month.

Chief Button is retiring on July 2nd after 36 years in law enforcement. Indianola Police Captain Brian Sher will take over as Interim Chief during the hiring process of a replacement.
