The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They approved the appointment of UMB Bank of Kansas City as the county’s paying agent, approved a salvage bid for the VA campus, and approved a Class C liquor license for Countryside Wedding & Events pending final approval from Environmental Health.
They re-appointed Al Van Zee and appointed Curt Froyen to the Commission of Veterans Affairs. They approved tax credit applications, military tax exemptions, and approved updated road department wages, among other items. The board also held a discussion and took no action on county employee bonuses.
The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be July 13th at 9:00 a.m.
