The PCM softball team blew out Baxter on Thursday night 12-0 in three innings of play.
Sidney Shaver was 1-1 at the plate, but found the base paths three times, resulting in three runs. Riley Johannes followed Shaver’s lead as she went 1-1 with three runs scored. Belle Hudnut, Joslin Briles, and Paige Steenhoek added two runs each en route to the Mustangs’ victory. The win brings PCM’s winning percentage back to .500 as they sit at 11-11.
PCM summer sports are off tonight, but the softball team returns to action in the Pella Christian tournament on Saturday. The Mustangs open the tournament against the host Eagles at 8:30 a.m.
