The World Food Prize Foundation and Iowa State University recognized Trey Voeller of PCM as a 2021 Borlaug Scholar. The award is given to a student associated with Dr. Norman Borlaug, an American agronomist who led initiatives worldwide that contributed to the extensive increases in agricultural production to fight world hunger. Voeller wrote a research paper on Niger and the importance of education for the African country. He attended the World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute this spring.
