Pleasantville’s softball squad will take a trip up to Ankeny for a weekend tournament against two of the better teams in the state as they will battle with Iowa City and Davis County.

The Trojans are coming off sweeping Madrid Thursday and are currently in the midst of a five-game conference winning streak, winning doubleheaders over Madrid and ACGC and knocking off No. 7 in Class 2A Earlham Monday. Coach Jan Haugen tells KNIA Sports that this will be a good determination for where the Trojans are as the season starts to finish.

The first game of the tournament will be at Ankeny Centennial High School against Iowa City and will begin at 10:00 AM. The second game will be at Ankeny High School against Davis County and will begin at 2:00 PM.
