The Twin Cedars baseball team had their seven game winning streak snapped Saturday as they fell to North Mahaska 11-5.
North Mahaska jumped out early scoring four runs in the opening two frames. The Sabers would battle back in innings three and four scoring a run in each to pull within two. Both teams would score twice in the fifth inning, before the Warhawks ran away with the game in the final two frames. The loss drops the Sabers to 12-7 on the year.
The Twin Cedars summer sports teams both hit the road Monday as the softball team plays at No. 5 in 1A Southeast Warren and the baseball team plays at Columbus. The baseball game is at 7 p.m. and the softball game is at 7:30 p.m.
