Countryside Wedding & Events Center in Attica held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday to celebrate its grand opening. Owner Jennifer Lambirth says this venue will provide a much-needed service to Marion County residents.

“We’re excited to be able to help out the community and hopefully, instead of people having to go away, they can come to ours and celebrate their wedding. They can stay in Marion County, and we can serve the people of Marion County.”

The venue features a large reception hall with a stage and balcony, bridal and groom suites, bar area, and more. Lambirth says some outdoor facilities are still under construction, but will soon be open.
