The Pella High and Pella Christian baseball teams are coming together for a varsity doubleheader, and while they compete this Wednesday, they will also raise funds for Katlyn Bokhoven.

Katlyn is the 29-year-old daughter of Jodi & Kelvin Bokhoven who recently underwent sudden and unexplained liver failure. She is currently hospitalized in Kansas City and awaiting a liver transplant.

The Pella Community School District will be donating a portion of the gate and concession sales and donation buckets will be available. The Tulip City teams will also be taking pledges for total combined hits, runs, & home runs combined between the two teams and both varsity games.
