A road closure has shifted as a gravel road in the city limits is converted to concrete. 218th Avenue, south of Shady Brook Lane, is closed to all traffic while work continues on stage 5 of the street reconstruction project.

To access everything south of Shady Brook Lane, use the detour route in place south of Pella using Clark Street/Highway T17 to Illinois Drive to 218th Avenue.

Those living in the project area will now use 218th Avenue and Neil Drive west to Idaho Drive.

This stage of the project may take approximately 2-3 weeks, weather dependent. Actual location of full closures and direction of detour routes may change several times during this project. A notification will go out upon completion.
