The man found dead Sunday morning in Lake Ahquabi has been identified as Joshua Sweeden, age 33 of Indianola.

According to the Iowa DNR, at approximately 10:15am on Sunday, June 27th, a body was spotted floating in Lake Ahquabi south of Indianola approximately 20 yards from the shore near the beach/swimming area. DNR Parks Staff, Warren County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, and medical personnel were on scene, and the body was transported to the State Medical Examiner. No foul play is suspected, but the official cause of death has not yet been determined pending further investigation and autopsy results.
