While the City of Knoxville makes preparations for hosting this weekend’s Fourth of July activities, donations are being accepted to help make this winter’s Christmas celebration a special one. Interim City Manager Heather Ussery says the city wants to purchase a large tree, and the community’s help is needed.”

“We are seeking donations for a 26-foot commercial-grade light up Christmas tree that would be placed in downtown throughout the holiday season. Those donations can be mailed or dropped off at City Hall.”
