The deadline to register livestock for showing at the Marion County Fair is tomorrow. Marion County Extension Youth Coordinator Mindy Hardman says this step needs to be completed in order to compete.

“For our static exhibits, our Dyer-Hudson projects, we don’t require any pre-registration. But if you’re showing livestock, that is absolutely due July 1st. It’s a different process for families this year because we switched to an online system. If it’s past July 1st, it’s past July 1st, so get on those deadlines and get your livestock entered for the fair.”

All livestock will be stalled at the fairgrounds for the entirety of this year’s fair. The 2021 Marion County Fair runs July 16th-22nd in Knoxville.
