The Pella High and Pella Christian baseball and softball teams are coming together for a varsity doubleheader, and while they compete this evening, they will also raise funds for Katlyn Bokhoven.

Katlyn is the 29-year-old daughter of Jodi & Kelvin Bokhoven, who recently underwent sudden and unexplained liver failure. She is currently hospitalized in Kansas City and has completed a liver transplant.

The Pella Community School District will be donating a portion of the gate and concession sales and donation buckets will be available. The Tulip City teams will also be taking pledges for total combined hits, runs, & home runs combined between the two teams and both varsity games.
