This week’s Thursdays in Pella will focus on the theme of Stars and Stripes. Mary Mansfield with the PACE Alliance says a Miss Firecracker and Mr. America contest, activities with veterans and the Iowa National Guard, and more, will highlight the celebration this evening, starting at 6 p.m. She says the event will also serve as a celebration for Pella’s designation as a Home Base Iowa community. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting from every Thursdays in Pella this summer.
