Indianola residents looking for activities over the 4th of July holiday can visit other areas of the county for a host of local events. The City of Norwalk is having celebrations throughout the day today and tomorrow, including a parade and a party in the city park from 11am to 3pm today, with live music, a breakfast at the fire station tomorrow morning, all leading up to fireworks tomorrow at dusk.

Carlisle will have similar events throughout today and tomorrow including a parade, live music, a petting zoo, and a beer garden, while Milo will have a parade, mud run, a car show, and karaoke competition among others throughout the day tomorrow.
