Thrive Knoxville’s Fourth of July celebration is today at Auld Park. The day begins with the police department Freedom 5K around town and a breakfast outside City Hall. Numerous activities will be at Auld Park, including a craft & vendor fair, kickball tournament, family fun fair, and more.

The events run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Auld Park.

Fireworks will be launched Sunday evening from the Knoxville Airport at dusk. Police Chief Aaron Fuller encourages residents to enjoy this celebration, and reminds motorists that parking on the shoulder of Highway 5/92 is not allowed.
