The Indianola baseball team hosted North Polk Wednesday evening, and came away with a 3-0 victory. A methodical effort saw the Indians score one run apiece in the second, third and sixth innings, all while holding the Comets off the board. Carter Erickson led the way with three hits, a single, double, and home run, driving in two runs. Brady Blake pitched the complete game, giving up three hits and no walks while recording nine strikeouts. Indianola improves to 23-9 overall, and travels to Mason City tonight for a doubleheader. First pitch from Roosevelt Field is scheduled for 5:00.
