A block party was held Friday afternoon in downtown Knoxville as the community welcomed NASCAR fans. Members of the Knoxville Rotary Club grilled a brat meal and sold pies for guests to enjoy. People’s Bank sponsored axe throwing, and businesses offered specials. Throughout the celebration, Jackson St. Edition provided musical entertainment.
