Melcher-Dallas’ baseball squad will begin postseason play at Lynnville-Sully High School today as they take on North Mahaska.

The Saints come into the playoffs with a 15-13 record and will look to avenge the 17-3 loss they suffered Tuesday night at the hands of the Warhawks. In that game, the Saints finished with seven errors and seven hits. Melcher-Dallas finished the regular season with a doubleheader sweep of Colo-Nesco. Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports that his team needs to prevent errors and strikeouts at the plate in order to pull off the upset.

The matchup today will be at Lynnville-Sully High School at 5:00 PM.
