Pleasantville’s baseball squad will begin postseason play at East Marshall High School today as they take on PCM.
The Trojans are coming into the postseason with a 14-18-1 record after finishing the year with back-to-back wins against Ankeny Christian and Albia. Pleasantville has also won three of their last five, including splitting a doubleheader in their final conference matchup with Ogden. The Mustangs will enter postseason play with an 8-14 record, including 5-7 in Heart of Iowa Conference play. PCM is sliding into the postseason after losing back-to-back games to South Hamilton and Knoxville. PCM has also lost three of their last five games, including losing 11-1 to Roland-Story.
The game will begin at East Marshall High School at 5:00 PM.
