The Red Rock Balloonfest returns this weekend after last year’s cancellation. Jill Vandevoort with the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau says the 10th annual event will be celebrated through Sunday — weather permitting, at the Pella Sports Park due to COVID-19 restrictions at Lake Red Rock. Afternoon and evening entertainment will be highlighted starting at 3 p.m. today (see above) with balloon launches in the early evenings Saturday and early morning this Sunday.
