A season ago, Twin Cedars fell to Wayne in the Regional Championship. The Sabers couldn’t avenge that loss on Friday night as their softball season came to an end with an 11-2 loss against Wayne in the Regional Semifinals.

The Sabers offense managed to rack up 10 hits but failed to convert on some key scoring opportunities in the loss. The Falcons offense was too much for Twin Cedars to overcome, as Wayne hit 3 home runs in the game. Twin Cedars softball ends the season with a 29-11 record. 

The Twin Cedars baseball team begins their postseason journey tonight against Montezuma at Northview Park in Urbandale at 5 p.m.
