Melcher-Dallas’ baseball squad had their season come to an end with a 10-0 loss to North Mahaska at Lynnville-Sully High School Saturday night.

The Saints struggled to get anything going offensively, mustering just four hits off of Warhawk pitching, two of them by Steven Krpan. Krpan and Logan Godfrey each had a double. Steven and Ryan Krpan gave up five runs in three innings each on the mound in the loss. Owen Suntken had the other hit for Melcher-Dallas. North Mahaska will play Lynnville-Sully in the next round of the playoffs.

Melcher-Dallas finishes the season with a 15-14 record with an 11-7 record in Bluegrass Conference play.
